Establishes IT Services and Enterprise Software division…

Fuji Xerox Australia has launched its IT Services and Enterprise Software division, providing managed IT services, cloud/hosting services and enterprise content management software to clients seeking to optimise their business processes. The company said the new division will help guide technology transformation for its clients.

While Fuji Xerox Australia has provided some of these services for some time, it said the division was formalised as a result of increased demand from clients looking for evolving, scalable and reliable technology. Powering business transformation, the new division provides solutions that enable businesses to adapt quickly in a changing market.

Focused on enterprise content management, Fuji Xerox Australia’s enterprise software solutions provide secure collaboration and information management for paper and digital communications. This includes document creation, collaboration and process optimisation as well as retention and archiving. The solutions offer ease in access, approval and collaboration for multiple users, particularly in document-heavy departments such as Finance and HR for processes including Accounts Payable and new employee on-boarding procedures.

The company said its managed IT services will also benefit businesses with hosted and outsourced solutions to reduce on- premise technology infrastructure, enabling cost savings, scalability and security. This includes Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Desktop-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service offerings to streamline end-user computing, network and security support, server and database management, and IT asset management.

IT procurement services are also available for hardware and software, while back-up and storage solutions are beneficial to execute, monitor and manage IT back-up and redundancy plans.

“With this suite of services, we can provide flexibility to small and medium enterprises and government with a pay-for-use model. This alleviates the need for our customers to plan capacity and business growth now and potentially sacrifice the ability to scale later down the track. Instead, our technology and systems can be configured to flex and suit clients individually, as and when change is required,” said Brian Pereira, GM – IT Services and Enterprise Software at Fuji Xerox Australia.

Other benefits of the new solutions include improved accountability through comprehensive reporting and tracking, reduced overheads through smart application deployment, improved data protection and security, predictive intelligence by outsourcing IT support, reduced time and costs to deploy new technology, and access to a wider range of business grade suppliers and financing options.
