Stabicraft, the New Zealand boat manufacturer that scaled from a small operation to more than 100 staff turning out three to four boats a day, was still running on obsolete DOS-based systems with no visibility into production costs or margins per vessel, and a purchase order process disconnected from the rest of the business.
Verde implemented MYOB Greentree with the eDocs automation module in a three-month project, giving Stabicraft job costing down to each custom-built boat and automating approval processing that had previously been manual.
“Greentree has hugely improved our accounting capability at a granular level… it’s been transformational,” says Brook McPherson, CFO at Stabicraft.
