Auckland Rugby Union, which manages, administers and resources 19 rugby clubs across the region, was running a 20-year-old financial system with no cloud hosting, inflexible reporting and manual data entry that made month-end reporting a slog.
Auckland Rugby Union moved to MYOB Acumatica (then MYOB Advanced Business), gaining automated accounts payable approvals, invoice scanning and a flexible general ledger.
“It was definitely time for an upgrade. We needed to move with the times and start looking into the modern technology we could harness,” says Warrick Nansett, Head of Business Support and Planning at Auckland Rugby Union, where month-end board reports now take hours instead of days.
