AF Gason, the Australian industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturer, needed better visibility of what was happening on its shop floor to cut the backlog of engineering change requests and tighten job costing accuracy.
AF Gason runs SYSPRO MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) across its entire supply chain, covering shop floor data capture, job management, traceability, procurement and inventory, alongside SYSPRO’s finance functions for sales processing, invoicing, payables and receivables.
The company’s CFO attributed a 100% improvement in results over a couple of years to better decision-making from SYSPRO data – job recording accuracy improved by more than 20%, shop floor efficiency by close to 50%, and the backlog of engineering change requests fell by 30%.
