Businesses need to approach IoT based systems and practises in the same way they would when it comes to protecting any other digital record or connection. The IoT has taken huge steps particularly in the second half of 2016 and businesses are starting to really learn the full potential of what can be done. I saw some really interesting demos of IoT elements being used in a Facilities Management setting which made me think about the ways that IoT business practises are being integrated all around of us all of the time now. It's impressive that people are taking this innovative tech and using it to streamline their organisations in a variety of different fields from retail to the health industry.
