Gallagher, the New Zealand manufacturer of animal management, security and fuel systems, was held back by ageing infrastructure, network latency and a VMware maintenance contract it kept having to extend – all while wanting its IT team focused on higher-value work instead of upkeep.
Realtech, working with Datacom and Microsoft’s Azure Fast Track team, migrated Gallagher’s on-premises SAP environment to Microsoft Azure, choosing Azure over AWS for its Microsoft workload support, Software Assurance pricing and ExpressRoute access through Auckland.
