Company appoints Phil Josephs as business development manager responsible for growing its carrier and service provider business…

Integrated communication technologies specialist Agile says it is expanding its capabilities through an “aggressive move” into the network solutions area with a focus on the carrier and service provider market.

To date Agile’s market focus has been unified communications and contact centres, an area of business it has developed through relationships with Avaya, Microsoft, Tandberg and NICE.

Its expansion into network solutions has seen it boost its network arm by hiring Phil Josephs as business development manager responsible for growing the company’s carrier and service provider business.

Josephs has over 25 years experience in the industry with stints at British Telecom International, Cable and Wireless and 12 years at Siemens (now Nokia Siemens Networks).

Josephs said after a career history with multinationals, he was enjoying the more “immediate environment” of working for a New Zealand-based company.

“We are currently in discussions with world class network vendors about exciting additions to our solution portfolio which currently includes RAD, Ceragon and Juniper,” he said.

“With the all new solutions that we provide, Agile will continue its philosophy of coupling of best of breed technology with exemplary service.”
