OCS New Zealand, one of the country’s largest facilities management providers, has become the first company globally to adopt Esker’s full suite of eight AI-powered, cloud-based finance automation tools in a single rollout, after partnering with FUJIFILM Business Innovation New Zealand’s Process Automation team.
The partnership has delivered a ‘bold’ and comprehensive transformation of OCS’ finance operations using AI and automation, and marks a significant milestone in digital transformation for OCS in New Zealand.
OCS, which has more than 4,000 employees nationwide, provides a range of both standalone and integrated services, including commercial cleaning, hygiene, waste management, pest control, and maintenance and building services for large customers in the private and public sectors.
Solution
OCS’s partnership with FUJIFILM Business Innovation New Zealand began in late 2023, with OCS initially seeking to automate its accounts payable process. Over the following six months, the company expanded its vision to include the full Esker suite.
After a three-month training period, the first module, accounts payable, went live in November 2024. Since then, OCS has launched supplier contract management and expense management, with the remaining five modules scheduled for rollout by the end of 2025.

Results
By digitising and automating previously manual tasks, such as generating customer sales orders and supplier purchase orders, OCS is accelerating payment cycles and improving accuracy across its finance operations.
