FinancialForce cuts deal with Agilyx

Agreement will add local partner to deliver financial management solutions in A/NZ…

The San Francisco-based ERP and professional services automation (PSA) company has announced a partnership with tech services organisation Agilyx Group to deliver cloud ERP solutions to people-centric organisations in Australia and New Zealand. The companies will collaborate to deliver “industry-leading financial management and PSA solutions to people-centric organisations in Australia and New Zealand”.

“The partnership is not a major surprise as Unit4 is part owner of FinancialForce along with Salesforce.”

The news follows a successful expansion of FinancialForce into the Australia/New Zealand region in 2015. The company’s reach across the globe has been growing, most recently achieving more than US$100 million subscription annual recurring revenue for end of fiscal year, January 2018.

FinancialForce says that the A/NZ region has been quick to embrace cloud tech, assisted by the addition of payroll capability via an integration with the global provider of HCM solutions, ADP. Their growth in A/NZ has been underpinned with the addition of major customer wins including Grant Thornton, Ansarada, and Snowden.

“Collaborating with Agilyx presents great opportunity for the joint growth of FinancialForce and Agilyx in Australia and New Zealand,” says FinancialForce A/NZ Managing Director Simon Peterson.

“Getting Agilyx involved with FinancialForce will help us offer our customers more products, and better serve them post-implementation.”

Services-based consultancy Agilyx is known for its service stack which includes implementation, support, custom development and a managed services approach to system administration.

The partnership is not a major surprise as Unit4, the enterprise ERP suite that Agilyx implements in the region, is part owner of FinancialForce along with Salesforce. For Agilyx, the addition of a mid-sized cloud ERP solution makes a lot of sense to open a much broader addressable market than for Unit4 alone.

The company says that its ability to create custom development and integrations “opens the door for FinancialForce customers wanting a bespoke solution tailored to them, rather than an out-of-the-box product”.

“This collaboration will expand Agilyx’s product and service offering with more options to best suit the needs of our current and future customers,” says John Catarinich, Agilyx’s CEO.

“As pioneers in the field of agile technology solutions, Agilyx is excited to offer customers more options to become more efficient and reduce costs.”
