Vendor says its InsideView for NetSuite application is the first to bring social media insights directly to its CRM and ERP solutions…

Software vendors NetSuite and InsideView have launched a new business solution, InsideView for NetSuite, which they say is the first “social intelligence” application to bring social media to both CRM and ERP.

The solution gives NetSuite users direct access to relevant intelligence harvested from social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as editorial sources such as Thomson Reuters.

NetSuite says by leveraging the social intelligence delivered by InsideView directly within the NetSuite interface, businesses can gain new insights into their customers, prospects, employees and vendors to realize cross-enterprise productivity improvements.

It says the benefits to business include the ability to:

  • Proactively monitor the financial health of customers and partners to assess payment risk and improve collections processes;
  • Leverage social media “buzz” to gauge suppliers’ brand reputation, customer satisfaction, and service levels and assess supply chain risk;
  • Improve high-end selling through social and business connections to C-level executives;
  • Help sales professionals uncover new customer engagement opportunities faster with alerts on key business events;
  • Integrate social profile information to engage job candidates across multiple channels;

“The social intelligence delivered by InsideView provides the tools for companies to significantly increase sales productivity, and improve billing, procurement and recruiting efforts for our customers,” says Guido Haarmans, vice president, SuiteCloud Developer Network of NetSuite.
