RailCorp extends managed services contract with Fujitsu

Three-year deal to run company’s ICT operations, and achieve maximum efficiencies, is extended for a further two years…

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand extended its contract with RailCorp to provide managed services on the company’s desktop support, service desk, server management and data centres operations.

Fujitsu have managed RailCorp’s ICT operations for the past 3 years, delivering an advanced computing environment, improved service levels, enhanced information security and significantly lowering overall ICT costs. The contract has now been extended for another two years.

“Through outsourcing to Fujitsu, RailCorp has been able to focus on their core business processes to enhance the service delivery processes of RailCorp ICT,” says Joel O’Halloran, group executive director, managed services at Fujitsu.

“Fujitsu has ensured that RailCorp’s ICT infrastructure has been working to maximum efficiency by providing specialist resources, as well as increased levels of service to lower the cost of service delivery.”
